This #GoodNewsFriday we’re saying well done to Paragon Skills who were named ‘Training Provider of the Year’ at this year’s AAC Apprenticeship Awards.

The FEWeek and AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards 2023, in association with City & Guilds aim to celebrate apprenticeship delivery and recognise the people, teams, and organisations that make outstanding apprenticeships happen. Alongside this the achievements of apprentices, schools and colleges, employers, and training providers are also recognised. The event, now in its sixth year saw over 500 people from the apprenticeship sector in attendance.

Paragon Skills was delighted to receive the Training Provider of the Year 2023 award. Over 375 entries were received from training providers, colleges, universities, and employers.

Paragon Skills also stood as a finalist in Care Services Apprenticeship Provider of the Year category, coming in second place to Manchester Metropolitan University.

Shame Mann, who presented the awards said:

Great apprenticeships don’t happen by accident. Our winners demonstrate that excellence happens when dedicated professionals in employers and training providers work in tandem with the apprentice experience at the heart of everything they do.

Chief Executive of Paragon Skills, Mark Botha said of the win:

Winning the Apprenticeship Provider of the Year 2023 at the FE Week and AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards is simply fantastic and such an incredible endorsement of all the hard work our Paragon Skills colleagues, learners, and employer partners have put into apprenticeships in the past year. We’re incredibly proud of all the amazing and inspiring work being done through apprenticeships by everyone involved.

These annual awards inspire excellence, and they give everyone the opportunity to take stock and be recognised for the positive impact we all make on people’s lives, and as such we are over the moon to have received this fantastic recognition.

Well done to everyone at Paragon Skills.
