΢΢²ÝÊÓƵ is inviting local authorities to become involved with the Social Care Workforce Race Equality Standard
The SC-WRES was developed by ΢΢²ÝÊÓƵ as a tool to identify issues and measure improvements in the workforce with respect to the experiences of people from a Black, Asian and minority ethnic background.
SC-WRES comprises of nine measurable metrics/benchmarks to examine disparities in race equalities. It’s a process that organisations can use to address evidence and make progress towards race equality.
How you can get involved
SC-WRES has been piloted by 18 trailblazing local authorities and we’re now inviting more local authorities to become involved during the next data collection running from 1 September 2023 to mid-October 2023.
Join us for a virtual information session on Thursday 20 July at 14:00 where we’ll give an overview on:
- what SC-WRES is
- why it’s important
- the data collection process
- next steps and questions.
If you’re unable to attend and still keen to get involved or for more information, please contact equalityandrights@skillsforcare.org.uk
