This #GoodNewsFriday, Persona Care tells us about their Ideas Hub which supports a positive workplace culture for staff.

Persona Care has allocated £25,000 each year to implement ideas for improvement submitted by their staff and people they support.

The care provider is encouraging staff to share their ideas with them via their Ideas Hub.

Staff can add their ideas to the Ideas Hub via an online form which ask for more information about what the idea is, what the benefit will be and who will benefit.

The Ideas Hub was first launched at the organisation’s annual staff workshop, where everyone quickly started sharing their ideas during the session.

Suggestions have included creating a sensory room or a garden canopy.

No idea is too quirky to be considered. A panel will review all the contributions and will implement these up to the value of £25,000 per year. This means multiple new ideas can be supported each year.

This year’s Ideas Hub is open for suggestions via the online form until 30 June, with the £25,000 being used towards ideas until the end of the financial year. A panel will be selecting which ideas to implement on an ongoing basis.

Laura Wolstenholme, Head of People and Communications says:

We know that our staff and the people we support have the best ideas about new initiatives (however big or small) that can have a positive impact for them. The launch of the scheme has generated a buzz around the organisation, and it’s been great to see the creativity within our staff. We look forward to seeing the ideas that are suggested and implementing these throughout the remainder of the financial year.

Well done to Persona Care on a great initiative to support #PositiveWorkplaceCulture.
