Overview

This webinar will provide adult social care employers with essential information on how to claim funding for staff training from the  (LDSS).

Colleagues from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) will share the practicalities of accessing the LDSS, including:

  • the eligibility criteria for being able to make claims through the scheme
  • how the funding can be used, including the training courses and qualifications within the scope of the scheme
  • details on how adult social care employers can access the fund to make a claim.

Attendees will have the chance to watch a demonstration and get acquainted with the new online claims service, run by NHS Business Services Authority.

Gareth Young, Deputy Director for Adult Social Care Workforce Reform at DHSC will join to discuss why this scheme is important and how it fits with DHSC’s wider priorities.

Questions can be asked at the end of the session. We encourage attendees to submit their questions in advance during the registration process.
